I started making candles in 2022 as a simple hobby, a personal pursuit to create fragrances that felt luxurious yet effortless, refined but never overpowering, and always clean-burning.

After countless experiments, ingredient testing, and lessons learned along the way, that hobby evolved into a curated collection of scents inspired by nature and crafted to bring a sense of quiet luxury to everyday life. In October 2025, I launched Andas to share that passion with others.

The name Andas comes from the Swedish word meaning “to breathe.” Inspired by my Scandinavian heritage, it reflects the essence of each candle: a deep inhale, a calm exhale, and a reminder to be present, slow down, and savor life’s simple moments.

What began as a creative outlet has grown into a small, women-owned business built on care, curiosity, and intention, and a desire to show my kids that with passion and persistence, an idea can become something real.
